MENGAPA MUHAMMAD DAN BUKAN KRISTUS?
Marilah kepada Ku semua yang letih lesu ...
TANTANGAN: Orang-orang Muslim percaya bahwa Allah bukanlah Bapa, atau Anak, atau Roh Kudus. Jadi, mereka menolak kesaksian Injil tentang pernyataan langsung dari Allah sendiri, yang dinyatakan di dalam Yesus Kristus. Namun, mereka menerima kesaksian Muhammad tentang pernyataan yang tidak langsung dari Allah, sebagaimana yang dicatat di dalam Al-Quran. Berita dari Muhammad di dalam Al-Quran mereka terima sebagai kebenaran, tetapi berita dari Yesus melalui Injil dianggap sebagai hasil pemalsuan dari orang-orang Kristen. Karena itu orang-orang Muslim mengajak orang-orang Kristen untuk tidak lagi mengikuti Kristus yang ada di dalam Injil, tetapi mengikuti Al-Quran dari Muhammad. Bisakah orang Kristen menerima ajakan yang demikian? Haruskah seseorang mengikuti Al-Quran dari Muhammad dan bukan Kristus?
JAWABAN: Kalau kita hanya membatasi diri untuk melihat hanya kepada Al-Quran saja, dan membandingkan apa yang dikatakan oleh kitab suci orang Islam ini tentang Kristus, dan apa yang dikatakannya tentang Muhammad, kita akan terkejut. Dalam hampir semua pernyataan yang penting di dalam Al-Quran, Kristus disebutkan selalu jauh lebih unggul dibandingkan Muhammad:
Nubuat Ilahi tentang Kristus dan tentang Muhammad: Kelahiran Kristus diwartakan oleh para malaikat, tetapi kelahiran Muhammad tidak. Sebelum kelahiran-Nya para malaikat berkata kepada Maria, ibu-Nya: “Sesungguhnya Allah menggembirakan kamu (dengan kelahiran seorang putera yang diciptakan) dengan firman (yang datang) daripada-Nya, namanya Al Masih ‘Isa putera Maryam, seorang terkemuka di dunia dan di akhirat dan termasuk orang-orang yang didekatkan (kepada Allah).” (surat Al ‘Imran 3:45). Kristus, dengan demikian, adalah Firman yang Allah yang menjadi manusia, sementara Muhammad hanyalah mendengar Firman Allah.
Kelahiran Kristus dan kelahiran Muhammad: Kristus dilahirkan secara ajaib dari Anak Dara Maria, sementara Muhammad dibuahi oleh seorang ayah dengan cara yang alamiah oleh ayahnya yang bernama Abdullah dan dilahirkan oleh ibunya Siti Aminah. Kristus sangat istimewa di antara manusia dalam hal Bapa-Nya bukanlah manusia. Namun, Kristus dikandung oleh Maria pada saat Allah menempatkan Firman-Nya di rahim Maria dan menghembuskan Roh-Nya ke dalam rahim itu: “Sesungguhnya Al Masih, ‘Isa putera Maryam itu, adalah utusan Allah dan firman-Nya yang disampaikan-Nya kepada Maryam, dan (dengan tiupan) roh dari-Nya.” (Surat al-Nisa’ 4:171) “Dan (ingatlah kisah) Maryam yang telah memelihara kehormatannya, lalu Kami tiupkan ke dalam (tubuh)nya ruh dari Kami dan Kami jadikan dia dan anaknya tanda (kekuasaan Allah) yang besar bagi semesta alam.” (Surat al-Anbiya’ 21:91; lihat juga Surat 66:12)
Kebenaran Kristus dan Kebenaran Muhammad: Kristus tidak memiliki dosa dan Ia tidak pernah melakukan dosa, sementara Muhammad harus meminta pengampunan atas dosa-dosanya. Menurut Al-Quran, semua manusia sudah melakukan dosa, bahkan semua nabi dan utusan Allah, kecuali Kristus (dan kemungkinan juga Yahya = Yohanes Pembaptis, bangkit kembali dari kematian Surat Maryam 19:13). Mengenai Kristus, seorang utusan Allah berkata kepada Maria, ibu-Nya, “Sesungguhnya aku ini hanyalah seorang utusan Tuhanmu, untuk memberimu seorang anak laki-laki yang suci”. (Surat Maryam 19:19) Sebaliknya, Muhammad diperintahkan untuk meminta pengampunan atas dosa-dosanya: “Maka ketahuilah, bahwa sesungguhnya tidak ada Ilah (sesembahan, tuhan) selain Allah dan mohonlah ampunan bagi dosamu …” (Surat Muhammad 47:19; lihat juga Q.S 40:55; 94:1-3 and 48:1-2) Perintah ini menunjukkan kalau Muhammad sudah berdosa.
Pewahyuan Kristus dan pewahyuan Muhammad: Kristus adalah Firman Allah sendiri, sementara Muhammad hanya menerima perkataan Allah melalui malaikat Jibril. Kristus tidak memerlukan pengantara untuk menerima Firman Allah, karena Firman ini ada di dalam Dia sejak awalnya, karena Ia sendirilah Firman Allah yang menjadi manusia (Q.S 3:45). Karena itu, Al-Quran berbicara mengenai Dia, “Itulah Isa putera Maryam, yang mengatakan perkataan yang benar, yang mereka berbantah-bantahan tentang kebenarannya.” (Surat Maryam 19:34) Muhammad, di sisi lain, selalu menerima perkataan Allah yang hanya disampaikan kepadanya melalui malaikat Jibril. Kejadian-kejadian demikian cenderung membuat dia sangat kelelahan: beberapa kali ia bahkan hampir koma saat menerima sebuah wahyu, atau ia seperti orang yang mabuk, atau ia diserang oleh ketakutan yang sangat mendalam. Menurut Al-Quran, Allah tidak pernah secara langsung berbicara kepada Muhammad. Namun, Allah, secara pribadi mengajarkan kepada Kristus tentang Al-Kitab, Hikmat, Taurat dan Injil. (Q.S 3:48).
Mujizat Kristus dan mujizat Muhammad: Kristus menyembuhkan orang sakit dan membangkitkan orang mati, sementara mujizat Muhammad hanya perkataan-perkataan—yang sekarang dikumpulkan di dalam Al-Quran. Al-Quran menyimpulkan tentang karya mujizat Kristus, “Sesungguhnya aku telah datang kepadamu dengan membawa sesuatu tanda (mu’jizat) dari Tuhanmu, yaitu aku membuat untuk kamu dari tanah berbentuk burung; kemudian aku meniupnya, maka ia menjadi seekor burung dengan seizin Allah; dan aku menyembuhkan orang yang buta sejak dari lahirnya dan orang yang berpenyakit sopak; dan aku menghidupkan orang mati dengan seizin Allah.” (Surat Al Imran 3:49, lihat juga Q.S 5:111). Mujizat yang demikian tidak pernah dibuat oleh Muhammad. Tentang dia Al-Quran hanya mengatakan, “Dia-lah yang mengutus kepada kaum yang buta huruf seorang Rasul di antara mereka, yang membacakan ayat-ayat-Nya kepada mereka, (yaitu Al-Quran)…” (Sura al-Jumu’ah 62:2; lihat juga Q.S 2:99)
Kematian Kristus dan kematian Muhammad :
Kematian Kristus dinubuatkan di dalam Al-Quran oleh Allah. Kematian, Muhammad, sayangnya, tidak dinubuatkan oleh Allah. Kristus mati seturut dengan kehendak Allah, karena Allah mengatakan kepada-Nya sebelum kematian-Nya, “Hai Isa, sesungguhnya Aku akan menyampaikan kamu kepada akhir ajalmu dan mengangkat kamu kepada-Ku.” (Sura Al ‘Imran 3:55). Tidak ada satupun di dalam Al-Quran yang mirip dengan itu dikatakan kepada Muhammad. Menurut Sira (biografi) Ibnu Hisham, Muhammad diracun oleh orang-orang Yahudi; ia meludahkan racun itu dan bisa bertahan; tetapi kemudian ia wafat karena demam sebagai akibat dari racun itu.
Kristus setelah kematian-Nya dan Muhammad setelah kematiannya: Kristus, setelah kematian-Nya, naik ke surga, dimana Ia hidup sampai hari ini sampai kepada masa kedatangan-Nya yang kedua kali di akhir jaman. Namun, Muhammad, wafat, dikuburkan di masjidnya di Medinah dan tidak memiliki peranan apapun di akhir jaman. Tentang Kristus ada tertulis, “Allah telah mengangkat Isa kepada-Nya” (surat an-Nisa 4:158; lihat juga Q.S 3:55) Karena itu Kristus adalah “seorang terkemuka di dunia dan di akhirat dan termasuk orang-orang yang didekatkan (kepada Allah).” (Sura Al ‘Imran 3:45) Al-Quran tidak mengatakan demikian tentang Muhammad. Ia wafat dan terbaring, dimakamkan di Medinah. Banyak sekali orang Muslim yang berziarah ke makamnya. Namun, Kristus, tidak terbaring di makam manapun.
KABAR BURUK : Orang-orang Kristen tidak bisa mengikuti ajakan Islam untuk mengikuti Muhammad dan bukannya Kristus, karena Al-Quran sendiri mengatakan lebih baik mengenai Kristus dibandingkan dengan mengenai Muhammad.
KABAR BAIK: Kristus adalah Firman Allah yang menjadi manusia. Ia dilahirkan dari anak dara, penuh kasih karunia, dan tidak memiliki dosa. Ia menyembuhkan orang sakit, membangkitkan orang mati, dan hari ini hidup di surga bersama dengan Allah. Ia saja yang layak diikuti.
KESAKSIAN: Nama saya Aliyu dan saya berasal dari Nigeria. Ketika masih seorang Muslim, saya berusaha menghancurkan Kekristenan di negara saya. Saya berhak menggunakan banyak uang, memiliki banyak pasukan, dan hubungan yang baik dengan pejabat-pejabat pemerintah serta sultan-sultan setempat. Kami berjuang untuk mengalahkan agama Yesus yang kami benci.
Namun rencana kami tidak pernah berhasil. Saya merasa bahwa ada tangan yang tak nampak yang menaungi orang-orang Kristen di Nigeria yang menghalangi kami melakukan pengrusakan yang serius atas mereka. – Saya menghafal Al-Quran, dan sudah berulangkali melihat bahwa di dalam Al-Quran Kristus memang lebih tinggi dibandingkan Muhammad. – Karena saya takut kepada orang-orang Muslim lain yang mungkin melawan pandangan saya, saya membuka diri kepada kuasa yang gelap dan tersembunyi untuk melindungi saya. Saya tahu bahwa saya sedang menuju ke neraka, karena saya memakai kuasa setan dari kegelapan itu. – Pada akhirnya, saya menjadi sangat putus asa. Saya mencari seorang pendeta Kristen dimana saya bisa mengakui dosa saya dan menerima keselamatan dari Yesus. Kebanyakan pendeta itu, takut kepada saya, karena mereka tahu bahwa saya memusuhi mereka. Ketika akhirnya ada yang mau menerima saya dan kemudian saya menyerahkan kehidupan saya kepada Yesus, saya merasa gunung kesalahan yang sangat besar dilepaskan dari pundak saya. Untuk pertama kali di dalam hidup saya, saya mengalami Kristus sebagai sumber terang. “Kekuatan terang mengalahkan kuasa kegelapan,” menjadi motto di dalam kehidupan saya. Banyak orang Muslim mencoba membunuh saya, tetapi saya masih hidup sampai sekarang dan saya mengajak mereka dimanapun mereka berada untuk mengikuti Pribadi yang lebih kuat daripada Muhammad.
DOA: Ya Allah terang dan keselamatan, saya percaya bahwa Engkau lebih kuat dibandingkan kekuatan kegelapan. Engkau sudah mengutus Kristus ke dunia ini sehingga kami bisa mengenal Engkau dan diselamatkan. Tunjukkanlah kepadaku jalan kepada-Mu, dan biarlah saya mengalami terang dan keselamatan dari-Mu.
PERTANYAAN: Apakah yang tertulis di dalam Al-Quran mengenai Kristus dan mengenai Muhammad? Benarkah Kristus lebih hebat daripada Muhammad?
UNTUK DIHAFALKAN: “Kamu telah mendengar firman: Kasihilah sesamamu manusia dan bencilah musuhmu. Tetapi Aku berkata kepadamu: Kasihilah musuhmu dan berdoalah bagi mereka yang menganiaya kamu. Karena dengan demikianlah kamu menjadi anak-anak Bapamu yang di sorga, yang menerbitkan matahari bagi orang yang jahat dan orang yang baik dan menurunkan hujan bagi orang yang benar dan orang yang tidak benar.” (Matius 5:43-45 – Perkataan Kristus, Anak Maryam)
