Awal tahun 2014, kondisi kami benar-benar getir. Rekening bank kami kosong melompong. Di saat yang serba susah ini, tiba-tiba datang salah satu pembimbing Saya ketika kuliah, Mam Suryani. Kebetulan, Mam Suryani ketika itu sedang memegang sebuah inkubator startup di kampus. Mendengar curhatan Saya, Mam Suryani langsung menulis surat rekomendasi ke Bank Jatim untuk meminjamkan kami dana segar yang cukup untuk operasional beberapa bulan. Jaminannya? Cuma ijazah Edbert yang memang saat itu belum keluar (dan sampai sekarang dia juga tidak butuh ijazahnya). Meskipun setelah mendapat funding besar beberapa bulan berikutnya kami langsung membayar pinjaman di Bank Jatim, tanpa pinjaman yang menyelamatkan cashflow tersebut, Studentpreneur sudah tidak mungkin ada sekarang. Sampai sekarang, kalau Mam Suryani mengundang Saya ke kampus sebagai mentor startup inkubatornya, Saya selalu datang dan tidak pernah meminta kompensasi apapun.

MY STARTUP :

A story with millions of choices in it.
