Have you ever driven around neighborhoods that primarily comprise of houses as opposed to apartments? Do you notice how a good 20% of them could use some type of paint work, at the very least? This is where you come in… This is your chance to sell your expertise once again, but this time you actually know that they need help with something, thus greatly increasing your chances at landing the gig. This works especially well during the winter, as many people dislike cleaning their cars and/or shoveling snow during a storm. Hell, I distinctively remember making hundreds of dollars as a kid cleaning the snow off many cars in my neighborhood. So, if a thirteen-year-old did it, why can’t you? 

Wave Signs for Businesses: If you are in need of quick cash and are desperate, walk up to various businesses and ask if they need assistance getting customers and/or clients. These may include furniture stores and used car companies. Many of them will actually agree. All you have to do is stand outside waving a big sign and drawing people’s attention for a few hours. Then you can happily walk away with a good $50 to $100 at the end of the day, depending on the place. This may feel like it’s beneath you or you may feel embarrassed by it, but it is a very legitimate way to make money really fast. If you are truly uncomfortable, drive to a far away place where you know that nobody will recognize you. The most you should spend on gas would be $10 or $15 round trip. 

Work for Free – Initially: Refer back to the previous tasks and techniques discussed in this nifty guide, and offer them for free to impress potentially-recurring clients. Give them a sample of your skills and ensure that you leave them your contact information when the first job is done. You’d be surprised with the amount of people that will be interested in your work once again! They will remember how much time you saved them and how much peace of mind you brought – all for free, and then for a small, fair fee in the future. 

Window Cleaning, Anyone? Did you know that many small businesses could use some help keeping their store looking beautiful? After all, a clean place is a big reason why customers keep coming back! Walk to as many mom-and-pop shops you can find in your area (and outside of your neighborhood as well) and offer them a service they can’t refuse. Now, do that with four businesses and you’ve got yourself $100 on the same day. 

Mystery Shopping: Mystery shopping is an old way of making money, but old does not mean ineffective. Basically, you must sign up through any company/agency that assigns mystery shopping tasks for you to perform. This may include analyzing whether a “Fresh” section of foods is actually fresh as the supermarket claims, or whether a “Hot” section is actually hot as the restaurant states. Other possible tasks involve interacting with a customer service rep at any given store to evaluate his friendliness toward customers, and so on. Average payment is anywhere from $5 to $25 depending on the task at hand. Some tasks do not offer monetary compensation but rather discounted/free products and/or services. Nevertheless, it is a nice option to explore if you need money fast.

Housekeeping: This one can be found relatively fast. Once again, go to places like Craigslist and check out their “Domestic” section, where they post lots of cleaning gigs every month. Otherwise, print out a bunch of business cards with a catchy title and your contact information. The beautiful thing about business cards is that you can get a million of them for $25 – figuratively speaking, of course. Drive around various neighborhoods and leave them wherever you think people might find them – tucked into their mailbox or over the door rug. You only need two or three clients to make about $40 to $80 from each. Repeat the same process in as many surrounding cities or counties as possible, and you could easily end up with 5 to 10 clients! 

Provide Child Care or Assistance: Are you legally qualified to baby-sit or provide any form of child care? Many single moms out there could really use your help, such as those with children who have learning or physical disabilities. As usual, good places to land a job include classifieds websites and good old fashioned door-knocking. Even better, print out flyers or business cards as previously mentioned in this guide. 

Sell Plasma: This is rather unusual and I personally don’t know many people who have tried it, but it is a good way to make money if you put in the effort! Walk up to various clinics and hospitals and offer your blood’s plasma. If your blood is clean, many of these places will happily take you up on the offer and hand you a certain amount after a few hours. Typical payments are usually fewer than $75, but it should give you a decent amount to eat or to pay a small bill. 

Attend a Paid Study: Classifieds often list paid studies which require one or several hours of your day, but you can walk away with $25, $50, $100 or even more depending on what they need from you. I have personally attended several in the distant past, and I can assure you this is one of the easiest ways to make quick cash. Go for it! These are typically found within the “Jobs” section of classifieds, and sometimes within “Gigs.” 

Run Errands for Others: People are so busy these days, but if you have some time on your hands, why not offer to run some errands for someone? Go to various classified websites like Craigslist.org or Backpage.com and post a new listing under the “Services” section. Renew said listing every couple of days until someone eventually emails you. This may or may not bring you money within 24 hours, but it doesn’t hurt to try. 

Fix Computers: People will always need their computers fixed, or at the very least they’ll know a friend or a family member who does. Let your neighbors know about your skills, and start spreading those business cards all over town. Have you noticed a trend in this entire guide? Many of these gigs require the use of good old fashioned tactics that still work to this day! Whether you print flyers, business cards and/or use simple word of mouth, you can be THE BOSS in your home town. Don’t let fear or shyness hold you back. 

Clean Cars for Businesses: Look around for businesses that largely depend on providing travel services or use vehicles as their primary way to make money. Introduce yourself as a professional with a superb cleaning service. Offer to clean each vehicle for $25 each (cars) and a larger amount if you deal with bigger vehicles. Depending on the business in question, you could end up cleaning anywhere from 5 to 10 vehicles and walk away with $100+ that same day. 

Find Free Things and Sell Them: Do you know how many valuable items people throw away each and everyday? I once found a laptop in the trash and realized it worked perfectly well. It only needed an hour of work (system maintenance) and was eventually sold for $150. Walk or drive around your neighborhood on “Trash Days” and see what kind of things people throw away. You will be surprised! Also, go to classified sites like Craigslist and pick up anything you can sell for a small profit, no matter how “mundane” or uninteresting the item may appear. Lots of people are throwing away their old 27-inch TVs, for example. They are often from the late 90s and pretty heavy, but there are still other families out there who would love to get their hands on them. Dust off the item and sell it for dirt cheap, giving the chance to make a handsome amount of money in no time. Take Action… Each and every one of these gigs can put anywhere from $5 to over $500 in your pocket this week, while many of them can earn you this cash within the next 24 hours. You don’t even have to perform them on a regular basis if you don’t want to. Simply pick the gig you’re most comfortable with, try to escalate it as much as humanly possible and make the money you need for your needs. Try to imagine this. When you're reading a story on the web or blog, you are given two choices. You can choose the next story based on your own choice. After selecting then you can continue reading the story. Shortly afterwards you will be presented back to the 2 other options. The next choice is up to you. Then you continue the story you are reading. After that you will be faced again with 2 choices. So onwards.

If you feel curious then you can re-read the story by changing your selection. Then you will see a different story with the story that you have read previously. The question now is why is this so? Because the storyline will be varying according to your choice. 

Based on the above, then you are faced with two choices. Are you interested in reading my story is? Or you are not interested at all. The choice is in your hands.
