Startup Bukan Soal Funding, Tapi Perjuangannya Mewujudkan Visi dan Misi Awalnya. Penuturan Nyata CEO Studentpreneur Soal Funding.

Funding is overrated! Itu adalah jargon pertama yang selalu dipegang oleh tim founder Studentpreneur. Dengan banyaknya pemberitaan di media mengenai pendanaan raksasa yang diterima oleh startup teknologi, banyak orang yang berpikir bahwa tujuan awal didirikannya startup adalah untuk memperoleh funding. Tidak sedikit orang yang lupa bahwa tujuan startup berdiri adalah “put a dent in the universe” (versi Steve Jobs), atau kalau dalam bahasa pendiri Reddit Alexis Ohanian: “make the world suck less”, bukan mendapatkan funding. Pendanaan yang diterima oleh startup bukanlah goal utama, tapi merupakan sebuah alat untuk mempercepat startup meraih misi awalnya.

Ada juga orang yang berpikir apabila startupnya tidak mendapatkan seed funding, maka lebih baik tidak usah dikejar lagi misinya. Ada juga tipe yang meloncat-loncat dari inkubator satu ke inkubator lainnya, demi mendapatkan funding, dan melupakan misi awal startupnya. Karena berbagai alasan tersebut, Studentpreneur ingin berbagi cerita kami dari awal hingga mendapatkan pendanaan seed funding dari investor lokal termasuk salah satunya mantan walikota Surabaya.

A story with millions of choices in it.

Try to imagine this. When you're reading a story on the web or blog, you are given two choices. You can choose the next story based on your own choice. After selecting then you can continue reading the story. Shortly afterwards you will be presented back to the 2 other options. The next choice is up to you. Then you continue the story you are reading. After that you will be faced again with 2 choices. So onwards.

If you feel curious then you can re-read the story by changing your selection. Then you will see a different story with the story that you have read previously. The question now is why is this so? Because the storyline will be varying according to your choice. 

Based on the above, then you are faced with two choices. Are you interested in reading my story is? Or you are not interested at all. The choice is in your hands.
