TRIBUNMANADO.CO.ID - Sungguh sebuah kreatifitas yang sangat menolong mereka yang tinggal di wilayah kumuh.

Ada sebuah kawasan kumuh di Manila Filipina. Di tempat ini rumah-rumah kumuh warganya berdiri, tetapi selalu gelap di siang hari.

Untuk meneranginya, warga harus membeli lilin atau lampu minyak. Dampak negatifnya, akibat penggunaan lilin maka di kawasan ini setiap tahun selalu terjadi kebakaran.

Untuk membantu warga di kawasan kumuh ini maka, seorang pria yang sebelumnya adalah seorang bintang film memperkenalkan temuannya yaitu lampu dari botol bekas air mineral yang menyala tanpa listrik.

Sumber cahaya untuk lampunya ini berasal langsung dari matahari.

Temuannya ini sangat membantu warga yang sebagian besar miskin, tak memiliki sambungan listrik ke rumah, atau tak mampu membayar biasa pemasangan dan berlangganan listrik.

Untuk membantu warga, maka pria ini membuat sendiri lampu botol kreasinya sendiri. Setelah bertahun-tahun melakukan uji coba, akhirnya dia sudah berhasil membuat banyak lampu botol untuk membantu warga.
