Lampu botol ini bisa dibuat langsung di tempat, hanya dengan modal botol bekas air mineral, seng yang dipotong persegi, air, dan cairan pemutih.

Cara membuatnya dengan memasukan air ke dalam botol. Fungsinya untuk memberkas cahaya matahari dan memancarkannya ke dalam ruangan.

Untuk menjaga agar air tetap jernih, maka dimasukan satu tutup larutan pemutih ke dalam air.

Pemasangan lampu botol ini juga mudah. Cukup dengan melubangi bagian atap, masukan lampu botol yang sudah berisi air dan pemutih, kemudian seng persegi tempat botol dimasukan disatukan ke atap.

Bagian kepala botol berada di bagian atas atap sebagai tempat masuknya cahaya matahari.

Bola lampu ini sangat  murah, kurang dari satu dolar Amerika untuk pembuatannya.

Saat malam hari, pria ini juga membuat kreasi lain yaitu lampu solar cell mini, tetapi harganya relatif lebih mahal. (Youtube)
