Tidak Ingin Meninggalkan Surabaya

Saya dan Agung berdua melaunching Studentpreneur kecil-kecilan sambil mengelola perusahaan web dan copywriting kami. Studentpreneur berjalan secara organik, tanpa dukungan dana sama sekali di awalnya. Tapi, kami terus berusaha memperbaiki produk secara desain maupun contentnya. Sebagai wujud komitmen perbaikan produk, Saya juga mengajak masuk Edbert Johnson, teman lama Saya, untuk berkontribusi di bidang desain. Berkat hyper-focus ke produk tersebut, akhirnya Studentpreneur mulai mendapatkan traksi, dikunjungi oleh sekitar 10 ribu orang hanya setelah beberapa bulan berdiri.

Traksi ini mendapatkan tanggapan serius dari perusahaan pelat merah berwarna biru. Kami diundang ke Jakarta untuk pitching. Pihak perusahaan tersebut terkesan, menawari kami inkubasi dan pendanaan, dengan syarat kami harus memindahkan operasional ke Bandung. Saat itu juga kami menolak karena pindah ke Bandung adalah ide buruk bagi Studentpreneur. Kami tidak kenal siapa-siapa di sana, itu sama saja langkah mundur.

Setelah membatalkan kesepakatan dengan perusahaan tersebut, kami mendapatkan telepon yang tidak pernah kami lupakan. Kami ditelpon oleh Martin Hartono! Putra penerus Grup Djarum! Beliau tertarik dengan konsep Studentpreneur dan menugaskan staffnya untuk memantau kami. Akhirnya, GDP Ventures milik beliau mengajak Studentpreneur masuk inkubasinya, lagi-lagi dengan syarat kami mau memindahkan operasional ke Jakarta. Lagi-lagi kami harus menolak tawaran ekstrem tersebut dengan alasan yang sama, kami hanya tidak ingin meninggalkan Surabaya.

MY STARTUP :

A story with millions of choices in it.

Try to imagine this. When you're reading a story on the web or blog, you are given two choices. You can choose the next story based on your own choice. After selecting then you can continue reading the story. Shortly afterwards you will be presented back to the 2 other options. The next choice is up to you. Then you continue the story you are reading. After that you will be faced again with 2 choices. So onwards.

If you feel curious then you can re-read the story by changing your selection. Then you will see a different story with the story that you have read previously. The question now is why is this so? Because the storyline will be varying according to your choice. 

Based on the above, then you are faced with two choices. Are you interested in reading my story is? Or you are not interested at all. The choice is in your hands.
