Larilah Israel, selagi ada kesempatan
"Jadi apabila kamu melihat Pembinasa keji berdiri di tempat kudus,...maka orang-orang yang di Yudea haruslah melarikan diri ke pegunungan.." (Mat 24:15)
Peringatan Tuhan Yesus pada ayat tersebut adalah peringatan terhadap orang2 Yahudi akan bahaya yang mengintai mereka kelak pada waktu Romawi pimpinan Jendral Titus berhasil merebut Bait Allah, jenderal ini sangat jahat sehingga Tuhan Yesus mengingatkan orang-orang Yahudi untuk secepat mungkin pergi dari sekitar Yerusalem untuk menghindari kematian ditangan tentara2 Romawi yang kejam, sebelum berhasil merebut Bait Allah saja jenderal ini telah melakukan hal-hal yang mengerikan, ia mengepung Yerusalem sehingga penduduk kelaparan, menyalibkan sekitar 500 orang yang tertangkap setiap hari, Jenderal Titus sangat geram terhadap orang2 Yahudi karena kekerasan hati mereka yang menolak menempatkan patung Zeus di tempat kudus Bait Allah.
Akhirnya pengepungan itu berakhir, pasukan Titus berhasil menembus benteng pertahanan kota Yerusalem, mereka memasuki kota, membunuh sisa-sisa orang Yahudi yang selamat dari kelaparan, para pejuang yang gigih mempertahankan Bait Allah pun tidak luput dari pembantaian pasukan ini, tidak kurang dari 1,1 juta orang Yahudi tewas dalam kejadian ini, orang2 yang selamat adalah mereka yang melarikan diri pada waktu mengetahui Bait Allah telah dikuasai (kebanyakan adalah orang Yahudi Kristen yang ingat akan peringatan Yesus dalam khotbahnya di bukit zaitun, Mat 24:15-22).
Dengan amarahnya yang meluap-luap jenderal Titus memerintahkan menghancurkan Yerusalem dan menjarah isi Bait Allah, membakar juga menghancurkannya menjadi rata dengan tanah, persis seperti nubuat Tuhan Yesus dalam Luk 21:6. Kejadian ini sangat membekas bagi orang2 Yahudi, sehingga sampai sekarang, untuk memperingati kejadian itu, seorang mempelai laki-laki Yahudi biasanya menghancurkan sebuah gelas anggur dibawah tumitnya saat upacara pernikahan.
Namun kejadian besar itu ternyata hanya bayangan akan apa yang akan terjadi kemudian, yaitu kejadian serupa yang lebih dahsyat pada waktu Antikris (yang dianggap Mesias oleh orang2 Yahudi) akan masuk tempat kudus dari Bait Allah dan menyatakan diri sebagai Allah. Setidaknya 2/3 penduduk Israel akan tewas pada waktu itu (zak 13:8), itu berarti sekitar 5,6 juta penduduk Israel tewas ditangan Antikris dan para pasukannya (angka 5,6 juta diambil dari 2/3 dari sekitar 7,5 juta jumlah penduduk Israel saat ini, per sensus tahun 2009. Dan jumlah itu akan terus bertambah sehubungan proses Aliyah masih terus berlangsung). Inilah masa "kesusahan Yakub" seperti nubuat nabi Yeremia (Yer 30:7). Darah akan memenuhi seluruh jalanan di Yerusalem dan di seluruh negeri, tidak ada pengecualian antara laki-laki, perempuan, ibu2 hamil bahkan anak-anak, semua akan dibunuh oleh Antikris (Hos 14:1)
Penganiayaan besar itu terjadi pada pertengahan tujuh tahun masa aniaya besar (Dan 9:27), Penganiayaan akan berpusat di Yerusalem dan menyebar ke seluruh dunia, masa ini akan menjadi masa kekejian yang membinasakan, masa yang paling mengerikan dan kesulitan besar dalam sejarah manusia. Masa itu akan berlangsung selama "empat puluh dua bulan" (Why 11:2, 13:5); "seribu dua ratus empat puluh hari" (Why 11:3; 12:6) dan "satu masa dan dua masa dan setengah masa" (Dan 7:25; Why 12:14). Semua ungkapan itu menandai satu masa yang lamanya 31/2 tahun.
144.000 Orang Yahudi dimateraikan, orang Kristen larilah selagi ada kesempatan...
Sekalipun masa kesusahan besar adalah akibat dari dosa dan pelanggaran orang-orang Israel terhadap Allah, namun ternyata tidak semua orang Israel melakukan pelanggaran itu, diantara seluruh penduduk Israel ada orang-orang yang masih menjaga kelakuannya dan tidak mencemari dirinya dalam dosa dan pelanggaran, sehingga Allah melihat orang-orang itu dan melindungi mereka dari murka yang akan melanda dunia ini. Allah memateraikan mereka dengan nama-Nya, sehingga baik Antikris maupun segala bencana tidak dapat melukai mereka. Jumlah mereka tidak banyak, hanya 144.000 orang dari 12 suku Israel. Mereka akan dibawa ke tempat dimana Antikris tidak dapat menangkap atau melukainya (Wahyu 12:14-16).
Oleh sebab itu Iblis sangat marah, maka ia mencari "Israel" yang lain yaitu Israel secara roh atau keturunan lain yang menuruti hukum-hukum Allah dan memiliki kesaksian Yesus (Wahyu 12:17), Siapakah mereka itu? Mereka adalah orang-orang Kristen (tertinggal), Tuhan Yesus melukiskan gambaran suram bagi para pengikut-Nya, suatu gambaran yang bahkan lebih suram daripada yang kita telah lihat dalam sejarah gereja yang telah lampau.
Yesus bernubuat : "Pada waktu itu kamu akan diserahkan supaya disiksa, dan kamu akan dibunuh dan akan dibenci semua bangsa oleh karena nama-Ku, dan banyak orang akan murtad dan mereka akan saling menyerahkan dan saling membenci" (Mat 24:9-10)
Tetapi yang paling buruk masih akan datang. Kepada kita, Tuhan Yesus memperkenalkan tokoh yang paling mengerikan yang pernah memasuki sejarah manusia. Tokoh itu adalah Antikris yang bertekad untuk memusnahkan umat Allah (orang Israel dan orang Kristen).
Dan semua itu terjadi atas seizin Tuhan tentunya, ini adalah waktu berakhirnya masa kasih karunia dan dimulainya masa kesusahan besar, ini merupakan waktu penghukuman bagi orang-orang Kristen yang telah menyia-nyiakan masa kasih karunia dan yang hidup dalam dosa dan kedagingan, mereka adalah para pengikut Tuhan Yesus namun yang kehidupannya tidak mencerminkan dan melakukan apa yang Tuhan Yesus teladani (tentang ini akan dibahas pada artikel "Menghargai zaman kasih karunia" pada edisi berikutnya tahun 2010), sehingga pada waktu pengangkatan terjadi mereka adalah orang2 yang tertinggal dan harus masuk dalam masa aniaya. Mereka masih memiliki kesempatan untuk bersama-sama dengan Yesus di Sorga kelak, namun harus dibayar dengan darah mereka sendiri, sebab keselamatan melalui Darah Yesus hanya berlaku pada zaman kasih karunia yang sudah berakhir.
Penganiayaan yang terjadi sangatlah mengerikan, seperti Mat 24:21-22 : "Sebab pada masa itu akan terjadi siksaan yang dahsyat seperti yang belum pernah terjadi sejak awal dunia sampai sekarang dan yang tidak akan terjadi lagi. Dan sekiranya waktunya tidak dipersingkat, maka dari segala yang hidup tidak akan ada yang selamat; akan tetapi oleh karena orang-orang pilihan waktu itu akan dipersingkat."
Penganiayaan yang terjadi bukan hanya meliputi penganiayaan fisik yang mengakibatkan penderitaan atau kematian, sebab Iblis tahu jika orang-orang Kristen teraniaya maka mereka akan semakin kuat dan berharap kepada Tuhan. Sehingga Iblis telah menyiapkan taktik-taktik untuk membinasakan orang2 Kristen sampai pada akhirnya tidak ada satupun dari mereka yang selamat namun membuat mereka murtad. Iblis telah menyiapkan Nabi-nabi palsunya, patung yang dapat membunuh dan tanda 666, sehingga barangsiapa yang tidak menerima tanda itu tidak bisa menjual atau membeli.
Nabi Palsu
Dalam menjalankan agama palsu, Antikris mempercayakannya kepada nabi palsu, dengan demikian ia akan menyesatkan manusia (terutama orang Yahudi dan orang Kristen) percaya kepadanya, mengikuti agama baru tersebut dan menyembah Antikris. Wahyu 13:11 berkata : "Dan aku melihat seekor binatang lain keluar dari dalam bumi dan bertanduk dua sama seperti anak domba dan ia berbicara seperti seekor naga."
Nabi palsu ini kemungkinan akan menggunakan ayat-ayat Firman Tuhan dalam menyebarkan pengajarannya akan tetapi pengajarannya itu disesatkan sehingga orang-orang di dunia, orang Kristen dan orang Yahudi akan tertipu olehnya, belum lagi tanda-tanda ajaib yang akan dilakukannya akan menambah kepercayaan orang terhadap nabi palsu dan mempercayainya sebagai utusan dari Tuhan, dia akan menyembuhkan orang sakit, membangkitkan yang mati, menurunkan api dari langit dll. "Sebab Mesias-mesias palsu dan nabi-nabi palsu akan muncul dan mereka akan mengadakan tanda-tanda dan mujizat-mujizat dengan maksud, sekiranya mungkin, menyesatkan orang-orang pilihan." (Mark 13:22) Akan banyak orang Kristen tertipu dan mengikuti nabi palsu.
Patung Antikris, menyembah atau mati
Setelah Antikris memasuki Bait Allah, ia menyatakan diri sebagai Allah semesta alam, ia juga menyombongkan diri diantara agama2 dan allah-allah sembahan penduduk dunia, dan bukan hanya itu ia menuntut untuk disembah selayaknya Tuhan oleh seluruh manusia tanpa terkecuali, tidak ada yang dapat melawan, pilihannya hanya menyembah atau mati!
Untuk meyakinkan agar penyembahan terhadap dirinya dilaksanakan, antikris akan memerintahkan membuat patung dirinya (para kaisar Romawi melakukan hal yang sama dengan mendirikan patung2 kaisar yang berkuasa lalu menempatkannya di seluruh negara jajahannya), patung ini akan dikirimkan dan diperintahkan untuk dibuat diseluruh negara yang ada di dunia.
Antikris akan melancarkan kampanye penganiayaan bahkan akan membunuh kepada setiap orang2 yang tidak mau patuh. Sekalipun Antikris dan nabi palsunya tidak maha hadir, akan tetapi peraturannya itu pasti dilakukan oleh seluruh dunia sebab patung Antikris yang dibuat akan diberi nyawa dan dapat membunuh kepada siapa saja yang tidak mau menyembahnya, "Dan kepadanya diberikan kuasa untuk memberikan nyawa kepada patung binatang itu, sehingga patung binatang itu berbicara juga, dan bertindak begitu rupa, sehingga semua orang, yang tidak menyembah patung binatang itu, dibunuh." (Wahyu 13:15)
Di tengah-tengah begitu banyak penyesatan (Nabi palsu, mesias2 palsu, guru2 palsu) dan begitu banyak perang, wabah penyakit, bencana besar, penganiayaan, pembunuhan orang percaya, pemberlakuan tanda 666, penghianatan dan banyaknya orang2 yang membelot dari imannya, dan ditengah hari-hari kemenangan Iblis, bagaimana kelanjutan nasib orang2 Yahudi dan orang-orang Kristen pada masa kesusahan besar itu? Apakah mereka dapat bertahan sampai Tuhan Yesus datang dan masuk dalam masa 1000 tahun damai? Dan bagaimana nasib Uni Eropa, Antikris, dan nabi palsunya pada waktu Tuhan Yesus datang kelak ?
"Yang paling buruk masih terjadi, yang paling baik sudah menanti."

Tuhan, saya tahu saya orang yang berdosa, ampuni saya Tuhan. Mulai saat ini saya percaya dan mengundang Tuhan sebagai Tuhan dan Juru selamat pribadi saya.
