Merdeka.com - Perkembangan teknologi mutlak harus diikuti dan bisa diterapkan oleh para pelajar di Indonesia khususnya siswa SMA jika ingin langsung menapaki dunia kerja. Begitu kata, pengamat pendidikan dari Paramadina Public Policy Institute, Totok A. Soefijanto.

Pasalnya, menurut dia, berdasarkan hasil riset, jika para siswa bisa mengoperasikan minimal tiga software umum yang sering digunakan dalam dunia kerja, maka kesempatan untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan lebih mudah. Perlu diketahui juga, 75 persen pengangguran adalah remaja.

"Jika bisa menguasai tiga software Microsoft seperti Microsoft Word, Excel, dan Power Point, cenderung mereka lulusan SMA bisa lebih cepat mendapatkan pekerjaan dibandingkan dengan yang tidak menguasai," ujarnya kepada Merdeka.com.

Namun ironisnya, kata dia, rata-rata dari para pelajar masih memandang persoalan ini sebelah mata. Sehingga ketika dihadapkan dengan dunia kerja, lulusan SMA masih minim pengetahuan penggunaan teknologi itu.

"Saya kira, saat ini mereka melihat software Microsoft tidak lebih dari sekadar mesin ketik saja. Padahal, manfaatnya begitu besar. Nah, ini masih kurang dan menjadi fokus utama kita bersama," katanya.

Di samping itu juga, para guru pun sudah seharusnya mau dan melek teknologi agar nantinya penggunaan ICT di Indonesia khususnya di bidang pendidikan bisa berkembang.

"Saya mengimbau untuk guru untuk coba belajar ICT. Pelan-pelan saja dulu. Belajar pakai microsoft word, Excel, dan lain sebagainya. Saya yakin ketika sudah ada niat dan terus belajar, para guru akan semakin excited mempelajarinya," tutup Totok.

Try to imagine this. When you're reading a story on the web or blog, you are given two choices. You can choose the next story based on your own choice. After selecting then you can continue reading the story. Shortly afterwards you will be presented back to the 2 other options. The next choice is up to you. Then you continue the story you are reading. After that you will be faced again with 2 choices. So onwards.

If you feel curious then you can re-read the story by changing your selection. Then you will see a different story with the story that you have read previously. The question now is why is this so? Because the storyline will be varying according to your choice. 

Based on the above, then you are faced with two choices. Are you interested in reading my story is? Or you are not interested at all. The choice is in your hands.
