Menurut JK, program Sejuta Rumah Rakyat ini akan berhasil jika ada koordinasi yang baik antar Kementerian/Lembaga. Karena itu, dirinya akan melakukan supervisi langsung agar program ini berjalan dengan baik. "Satu hal bagus yang sudah dicapai adalah penyederhanaan izin," katanya.

Staf Khusus Wakil Presiden Bidang Ekonomi dan Keuangan Wijayanto Samirin menambahkan, untuk mendukung lancarnya program Sejuta Rumah Rakyat, sudah ada kesepakatan Kementerian Dalam Negeri dan Pemerintah Daerah untuk memangkas perizinan pembangunan rumah bagi pengembang atau developer.

Tidak main-main, perizinan yang sebelumnya berjumlah 44, akan dipangkas menjadi hanya 8 saja. "Pemangkasan 36 izin bisa membuat harga rumah lebih murah 20 persen," ucapnya.

Tahun lalu, pemerintah sudah menetapkan batasan harga rumah yang bisa mendapat fasilitas pembebasan Pajak Pertambahan Nilai (PPN) yang dibagi dalam sembilan zona.

Misalnya, di kawasan Jabodetabek maksimal Rp 120 juta, di Jawa (selain Jabodetabek) Rp 105 juta, Sumatera (selain Babel) Rp 105 juta, Kalimantan Rp 118 juta, Sulawesi Rp 110 juta, dan paling mahal Papua serta Papua Barat Rp 165 juta.

Selain bebas PPN, pemerintah juga sudah sepakat untuk memberikan beberapa insentif lain bagi masyarakat berpenghasilan rendah agar bisa membeli rumah rakyat.

Misalnya, subsidi uang muka Rp 4 juta dan bunga KPR 5 persen yang jauh lebih rendah dari suku bunga KPR biasa yang ada di kisaran 12 - 13 persen per tahun. (owi)
