So by providing argument settling content the chances are that somebody will bookmark it in order to keep it in their inventory ready to pull out when an argument explodes on an online forum.

Not only are they linking to your website, but there’s a 99% chance that the forum will be in the same niche as your website (who talks about marketing on a bird watching forum?) so you’ll bag yourself a load of targeted traffic each time an argument unfolds.
