The Most Important Page On Your Website

Are you neglecting one of the most important pages on your website?
About pages are the most frequently viewed page on many websites. Copyblogger’s Sonia Simone, entrepreneur and analytics expert Neil Patel, and other experts consider the About page to be among the most important on your site.
Go ahead and check your analytics in a new tab (I’ll wait) — I bet your About page is in the top 5 most visited pages, if not THE most visited after your homepage.
Visitors who stumble across your website get curious about who’s behind it. They want to know who you are, what your business does, and whether or not you can help them.
Unlike a traditional bricks-and-mortar business, your interaction with your customers is mostly online. Their first impression of you is based on your website, and when they have questions about you and your business, they turn to your About page.

What’s the REAL Purpose of an About Page?

Sure, your About page should have info about you and your business… but that’s not ALL it’s for.
People are more savvy than ever today when they surf the web, and they’re picky about who they trust. They watch for cues to determine your trustworthiness, and simple mistakes like punctuation and spelling errors or an outdated web design can make them wary of handing over an email address, let alone a credit card number.
One big indicator of trustworthiness is the quality of information that’s readily available about you and your business. If it’s difficult for your visitors to find out who’s behind the website, they really have no reason to trust you.
Your About page doesn’t just tell your visitors who you are and what your business does; it also creates trust and empathy, a connection between you and your readers.
And since visitors to your About page are already curious and interested in you and your business, it can be a great tool for turning casual visitors into loyal clients and customers (…more on that in the next post!).

What Should My About Page Include?

At a minimum, your About page should tell your readers:
  1. what your business does,
  2. who are the people behind it, and
  3. how you can be contacted.
But if you want to really create a connection with your readers, you’ve got to share a little more than that.
To create a deeper connection with your readers, consider sharing:
  • The story of your business
  • Your true mission and values
  • A photo of you and/or your team
  • A bit of interesting personal info, a fun fact, or an amusing anecdote
And to get the very most out of your About page, you should also include a simple & easy call to action. At the end of the page, ask your visitors to subscribe to your email newsletter, or share their email in exchange for a free e-book or report.

Is Your About Page Doing Its Job?

How’s your About page looking right now? Does it create trust and empathy between you and your readers, while giving them all the information they’re looking for?
Maybe you know your About page isn’t up to snuff, but you’ve been dreading revising it, or just aren’t sure what to write.
Stay tuned — I want to help you with that!
In the next blog post, I’ll share more tips for creating an effective About page, and a template you can use to get you started writing your own.

My STARTUP :

A story with millions of choices in it.

Try to imagine this. When you're reading a story on the web or blog, you are given two choices. You can choose the next story based on your own choice. After selecting then you can continue reading the story. Shortly afterwards you will be presented back to the 2 other options. The next choice is up to you. Then you continue the story you are reading. After that you will be faced again with 2 choices. So onwards.

If you feel curious then you can re-read the story by changing your selection. Then you will see a different story with the story that you have read previously. The question now is why is this so? Because the storyline will be varying according to your choice.

Based on the above, then you are faced with two choices. Are you interested in reading my story is? Or you are not interested at all. The choice is in your hands.
If you are interested then spread widely disseminated this article to your family, friends, neighbors, and relatives. You can also distribute it on facebook, twitter, goggle +, or other social media that this article be viral in the world. By doing so it is a new entertainment industry has been created.

Its creator named Richard Nata.
