Digital marketing quotes can help inspire your marketing efforts.
If you spend any time on social media these days, there’s a good chance you’re friends with a quote person. You know – one of those people who crams their feeds with occasionally uplifting, but unbearably cheesy quotes from famous figures, like: “Be the change you wish to see in the world” –Mahatma Gandhi, or, “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.” –Oscar Wilde
Full disclosure: in high school, I was a quote person. My locker, notebooks, MySpace Profile and even AIM away messages were filled with heartwarming couplets from Dr. Seuss poems, lines from Rilke’s Letter to a Young Poetand, of course, the most touching ‘90s alt-rock lyrics: “It’s something unpredictable, but in the end it’s right, I hope you had the time of your life.”-Green Day
Luckily for everyone involved in my life – both online and off – I’ve graduated from my obsession with motivational quotes, and my social media feeds are filled with more appropriate life updates now. But recently, I’ve noticed that my addiction may have been transferred elsewhere: to digital marketing quotes.
I’m a full-time content marketer now, and I constantly find myself copying and pasting snippets of wisdom from other standout digital marketers into a word document, then referencing these digital marketing quotes when I’m feeling stuck, uninspired, or a little directionless. (Turns out – I’m still a quote person).
But digital marketing quotes, unlike the soundbites usually shared on social, can actually be extremely helpful when it comes to helping marketers craft their campaigns, tailor their strategies, and even develop their own personal marketing philosophies.
Here are our 50 of our favorite digital marketing quotes we’ve collected. Don’t worry –none of them have ever been printed on a mug or magnet. (Yet.)
